Panorama serves as the central management and orchestration platform for your Hyperscale Security Fabric (HSF) deployment, providing comprehensive control over the entire firewall cluster through a dedicated plugin. When you deploy HSF in ESXi environments, you use the Panorama plugin to connect to multiple vCenter instances and orchestrate the deployment of both AI-Gateways and AI-DP firewalls across your infrastructure. The plugin enables you to select compute resources, map interfaces to port groups, and configure auto-scaling parameters for your cluster components.
Through Panorama, you can add, delete, or manage your HSF cluster as a single logical entity while maintaining visibility into individual cluster members. The platform automatically handles the distribution of configuration updates to all cluster members and provides centralized monitoring capabilities that display real-time metrics for CPU usage, memory consumption, session capacity, and throughput across your deployment. You can configure auto-scaling policies that allow Panorama to dynamically provision additional Prisma AIRS instances when utilization thresholds are exceeded, ensuring your cluster automatically responds to traffic demands without manual intervention.
Panorama also coordinates rolling upgrades across your HSF cluster, maintaining service continuity while sequentially updating individual firewall instances.
