Summary
dashboard gives you an overview of the health and security of your PAN-OS devices.
The
Summary
dashboard gives you an overview of the health and security status of your deployment, with links to other parts of the app for further investigation.
The
Summary
dashboard includes the following:
  1. At the top of the page, you can see:
    • The total number of onboarded devices and the change in that number over the past 30 days.
    • The number of devices that have not sent telemetry data for more than 12 hours.
    • The number of open alerts in your deployment.
  2. Device Health
    shows you:
    • the health grade distribution among your devices. AIOps calculates these grades based on the priority of open alerts on the device and their status.
    • the change in the overall health grade of your deployment over the past 30 days

    First Device To Investigate
    to see the details of the device with the lowest health grade.
  3. Health Alerts
    shows you:
    • the distribution of your open alerts among the critical and warning states.
    • (Premium only) the number of alerts that AIOps predicts you will encounter in the near future so that you can take proactive measures.

    to see the details of the alert with the highest priority or severity level.
  4. Device Security
    shows you:
    • the security grade distribution among your devices. AIOps calculates these grades based on the kind of open alerts on the device and their status.
    • the change in the overall health grade of your deployment over the past 30 days

  5. Security Alerts
    shows you:
    • the distribution of your open alerts among the critical and warning states.
    • the number of alerts generated based on best practice checks or on config hygiene

  6. Adoption Summary > Feature Configuration
    shows you how well you are using firewall security features according to PANW best practices.
  7. Adoption Summary > Feature Adoption
    shows you how well you are utilizing the firewall security features available to you.
  8. Top Failed Checks
    shows you:
    • the number of devices and device groups that failed Critical Security Controls checks.
    • the security grade of the device after remediation and a time estimate for remediation
  9. Highlights
    shows you a broad view of your:
    • Number of applications
    • Number of users
    • Traffic
    • Blocked threats
    along with:
    • a trend line of change over the past 7 days
    • the change today compared to those past 7 days
    • the top location generating the most of each kind of network activity.
