New Features Introduced in July 2017

The following table provides a snapshot of new features introduced for Aperture™ in July 2017. Refer to the Aperture Administrator’s Guide for more information on how to use the Aperture service.
Enhanced Machine Learning and Language Support
The Aperture service can now scan five additional languages (French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Spanish) for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and machine learning to identify potential risks. Aperture machine learning extracts keywords from your scanned documents and identifies any other document containing these keywords for further evaluation. If your organization has sensitive data written in these languages, you can leverage the Aperture service to identify these sensitive assets in Cloud Apps and protect them from exposure. To take advantage of this feature, Modify Policy Rules to include language-specific keywords.
Support for Sensitive Healthcare Documents (Beta)
The Aperture service can now scan healthcare documents for information such as visit summaries, prescriptions, test results, reports, and more using machine learning algorithms to classify and detect sensitive information. To improve detection rates for sensitive data for your organization, use Modify Policy Rules to scan for both keywords and regular expressions in the healthcare information stored on your sanctioned cloud applications.
