CN-Series 11.0.1 introduces Hyperscale Security Fabric (HSF) 1.0 - a cluster of containerized next-gen firewalls that deliver a highly scalable and resilient next-gen firewall solution for Mobile Service Providers deploying 5G networks. The CN-Series HSF clusters eliminate external load balancer dependency and consist of a pool of CN-MGMT (management), CN-NGFW (dataplane), CN-GW (gateway) and CN-DB (database) pods connected by internal networks.

The CN-Series HSF solution is deployable in on-prem (RedHat Openshift) or AWS EKS public cloud managed Kubernetes environments and also supports DPDK mode on both Openshift and EKS environments. See Known Issues in CN-Series 11.x.
