High CPU Consumption
The Central Processing Unit, commonly
known as CPU, is responsible for processing computer instructions
that allow your applications and web browsers to run on your computer.
It is essentially the brain of your computer. Each application or
browser tab that you open, consumes a part of the CPU processing
power. When you get close to the processing limits of your CPUs,
your computer will slow down, and your applications will be slower
to respond. The more applications or browser tabs you have open,
the more CPU power you consume. At some point, the CPU power consumption
hits a threshold after which your computer begins to slow down and
your application response time gets longer.
The threshold for CPU utilization here is set to 95% of its capacity.
When your device reaches or crosses the 95% threshold, you receive
the following notification.

Clicking on the notification opens the
Application

UI opens. It provides details about the notification
along with some suggestions to fix the issue.
The

link opens a time series
historical chart displaying the status of the CPU usage during the
last 3 hours. A slider bar placed at the right end of the chart
by default shows you the most recent status. Move your mouse sideways
on the chart across various points in time, to understand the historical
status of the active area. Depending on where you mouse over and
click in the chart, you can view the status and recommendation that
was indicated at that specific time within the 3-hour window. The
red dots indicate that a notification appeared on your device at
that time where the dot appears.
