Claim the Prisma SD-WAN ION and Assign it to a Data Center

After the ION device starts successfully, when connected to the Prisma SD-WAN controller, the state of the device will reflect as

Unclaimed: Online-restricted

under the

Map > Devices > Unused/Unclaimed

section.

It can take up to 10 minutes for the ION to show up in the Controller.

Claim the device. It will transition to an offline state while going through the claim process.

Once the device comes back online in a
Claimed
state, assign it to a data center site.

Validate that the device is online and assigned to the data center site.

The ION device and the site are now ready to be configured just like any other physical data center. Proceed to next steps:
Assign appropriate WAN network labels to interface 1 and 2 for Internet and Peering respectively.
Specify the NAT IP on the Internet port. (See the CloudFormation template output for EIP).
Configure Interface 2 as a peering interface.
Configure the BGP Core peer information.
Activate the site.
