Follow these steps to change an active server to standby
mode.
If you are performing a manual failover in
a DR simulation (when both hosts are operational), remember to always
first put your active server into Standby mode before failing over.
On the active server, navigate to
Settings
Advanced
Backups
.
Click
Switch Hosts
.
In the
Switch Hosts
dialog box,
in the text box, type
Switch Hosts
.
To commit the change, click
Yes, switch hosts
.
