Troubleshoot Mobile App Notifications

Troubleshoot push notifications in the Cortex XSOAR mobile app. FCM APNS
If users are receiving notifications by slack or email but not receiving mobile app notifications:
  • Verify that the push notification integration (FCM Push Notifications) is enabled and working.
    1. Go to
      Settings
      Integrations
      .
    2. Search for the FCM Push Notifications integration.
    3. If the integration is not enabled, enable it.
  • Ensure that the correct ports and IP addresses are open for outbound traffic to FCM as described here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/concept-options#messaging-ports-and-your-firewall
  • Ask the user if a popup requesting to receive push notifications appeared and was accepted. If no popup appeared, the user should restart the app.
  • Ask the user to verify that notifications for Cortex XSOAR are enabled on the user’s phone settings.
