Transfer or Update GlobalProtect Cloud Service Licenses

If you need to transfer your GlobalProtect cloud service license from one Panorama appliance to another, or if you have an evaluation GlobalProtect cloud service license and you purchase a production license, use this workflow to transfer or update your license.
If you are upgrading from an evaluation to a paid license, do not proceed with this workflow until the order process is complete, the order has been fulfilled, and the support portal is showing the newly purchased cloud service licenses.

Supported Update Paths

The procedure you use depends on the type of GlobalProtect cloud service license you have. If you are upgrading from an evaluation to a paid GlobalProtect cloud service license, the update path differs depending on the type of license your Panorama appliance has.

  • If you are upgrading from an evaluation GlobalProtect cloud service license to a production GlobalProtect cloud service license, use one of the following workflows to transfer the license:
