The Prisma Access onboarding
workflow uses a simplified initial setup process for new Prisma Access deployments.
This workflow rapidly deploys and configures various Prisma Access components,
including mobile users and private applications. This guided workflow can significantly
reduce deployment time.
The
Prisma Access onboarding
workflow provides best practice defaults and automates many backend tasks, simplifying
the configuration process. You benefit from the integration of the
Cloud Identity Engine and
Strata Cloud Manager with
Prisma Access
components in a single, cohesive interface. The setup is context-driven and based on
your activated licenses, ensuring that you only configure what's necessary for your
deployment.
Included with the
Prisma Access onboarding workflow are automated Day 0 Security
policy creation and simplified configuration for services such as
Advanced URL Filtering and
Advanced DNS Security. By using this
onboarding workflow, you can accelerate your time-to-value, reduce complexity in the
setup process, and ensure your
Prisma Access deployment adheres to recommended best
practices. This process is particularly useful if you're new to
Prisma Access or
want to quickly set up a new deployment with minimal manual configuration.
You can only use these onboarding
workflows when setting up Prisma Access for the first time. After you save your
changes and complete the setup, modify your Prisma Access deployment using the Prisma Access web interface.
