Configure User Directory Synchronization in Idira

Federate your enterprise identity provider with CyberArk Idira so that user identities can be resolved during AI agent authentication and access policy enforcement.
Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • Prisma AIRS — Agent Identity Security (US East region)
  • Agent Identity Security module licensed and activated via Strata Cloud Manager
  • AI Gateway activated with at least one data plane instance running
  • Enterprise IdP (Okta or Microsoft Entra ID) federated with CyberArk Idira
  • User directory synced to AI Gateway via Cloud Identity Engine (CIE)
Configuring user directory synchronization in Idira federates your enterprise identity provider with Idira so that user identities can be resolved during agent authentication and policy enforcement. If Idira is not yet connected, go to AI SecurityAgent IdentityAgent Identities — a prompt banner appears to Connect Directories via IDIRA.
Following are the steps to configure an external identity provider (IdP) and map federated users in the Idira Identity Administration interface:
  1. Log in to your Idira Admin Portal.
You can find your login URL in the invitation email sent by Idira. Alternatively, in the Strata Cloud Manager console, click Connect Directories via IDIRA on the banner under AI SecurityAgent IdentityAgent Identities.
  2. In the Idira console, click Setup.
  3. Go to DeploymentIdentity SourcesExternal Identity Providers and select the identity provider you want to configure.
To create a new external identity provider, see Federate with an external IDP in the CyberArk documentation.
  4. Click the Authentication tab and set the following options:
