Before you can deploy and use AI Gateway, you create a deployment profile that links the
service to your Strata Cloud Manager tenant. The deployment profile generates a registration
token that the gateway data plane uses to authenticate to the management plane. After
activation, AI Gateway is licensed using Software NGFW flex credits, where 1 flex credit
equals 4 characters of LLM input or output.
