View AI Gateway Logs

View, filter, and inspect AI Gateway transaction logs to monitor LLM usage, costs, latency, and guardrail results across workspaces.
Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • Prisma AIRS AI Gateway (Americas region)
  • AI Gateway activated
  • Traffic sent through at least one workspace
AI Gateway logs every transaction in Strata Cloud Manager. Each log entry records the workspace, model, provider, cost, latency, and the full request and response payloads. Logs are retained for one year. You can filter logs by workspace, model, time range, or other criteria, and you can export them for SIEM integration.
If a log entry shows metadata (workspace, model, cost) but the request/response content panel on the right is empty, the content may not have synced yet from the gateway data plane. Wait a few seconds and refresh the page.
  1. In Strata Cloud Manager, select AI SecurityAI GatewayObservabilityLogs.
  2. Use the filter bar to narrow results by workspace, model, provider, time range, or Config Status (cache hit, guardrail result, config type applied).
  3. Click a log entry to expand it.
The left panel shows metadata sourced from Strata Cloud Manager: workspace, model, provider, gateway API key used, token counts, flex credit cost, request latency, and Config Status.
The right panel shows the request and response content sourced from the gateway data plane. Select Original to see the request as it was sent to the provider, or Transformed to see the version after guardrail redaction.
  4. (Optional) To export logs to an external SIEM or observability platform, select AI SecurityAI GatewayObservabilityExport Settings and configure the OpenTelemetry endpoint.
For Hybrid deployments, you can also export logs to Amazon S3 from this screen.
