    panredirect import-config

    Read a binary configuration blob from a file, validate it, and write it to the registry, replacing the current configuration.

    Syntax

    panredirect.exe import-config --configfile <path>
    Redirection must be stopped before importing. The command refuses to run if the panredirect service is currently active. Call panredirect.exe stop first.

    Options

    --configfile PATHYesFile system path of the binary config blob to import. The file must have been produced by export-config or be a valid PANCONFIG_HEADER-prefixed blob.

    Validation

    The blob is validated with the same PANCheckConfigBlobV4 checker used during normal startup. If validation fails, the registry is not modified and the command exits with code 1.

    Example

    # Stop redirection, restore a saved configuration, then restart
panredirect.exe stop
panredirect.exe import-config --configfile C:\Backup\panredirect_config.bin
panredirect.exe start
