Use the
clear routing peer-ip
command to clear the border gateway protocol (BGP) peer sessions on a device.
Command
clear routing peer-ip ( hard | soft)
Options
hard
This tears down the session with a BGP peer and invalidates the cached routes.
soft
This enables BGP peers to request an update without tearing down the entire procedure.
