This release does not require that you have a symmetric network path for the traffic returning from the data center or headquarters location by way of a service connection. By default, existing deployments require symmetric network paths. This release allows you to specify Backbone Routing options to disable symmetric routing and, for 2.0 and 2.1 Innovation, load balance asymmetric service connection flows if you have sites with multiple service connections. If you enable these capabilities in your deployment, you should determine the impact of any service connection routing changes before you enable asymmetric routing.
