Add a New Setting for Third-Party Apps

Configure settings to block end users from authorizing third-party app access to corporate G Suite account.
It’s not uncommon for your end users to have or create personal accounts to third-party apps (for example, SurveyMonkey) and to use those accounts while at work. When prompted, users authorize (via OAuth) such third-party app access to their corporate G Suite accounts thereby company data.

Prisma SaaS can prevent such third party-app access. Simply add the G Suite Marketplace app so that Prisma SaaS can discover the third-party apps being used, then configure the third-party settings to:
  • Automatically block end users from authorizing (via OAuth) third-party app access to corporate G Suite account.
  • Notify administrators so they can assess the app.
  • Notify end users so they understand third-party app access restrictions.
Alternatively, you can manually block or restrict.
