application flow consists of a unidirectional stream of packets
of a flow. It is characterized by source and destination information
(IP and port), the volume of data transferred (bytes and number
of packets), TCP transaction-specific metrics, and Prisma SD-WAN
policies with their relevant rules and actions applied to that flow.
The Flows chart
helps troubleshoot the network, application performance on TCP sessions,
and routing issues.

sheds more light on how the Prisma SD-WAN network and security policy defines
the chosen path and the priority class for that application.
