Quick Filters

Quick Filters are used to narrow down applications and sites to display granular analytics.
Quick Filters
provide a way to display granular analytics on the network or its applications, allowing you to drill down into traffic per site, per request, and per WAN path.
  • Select
    Sites
to narrow down analytics per site.
  • Select
    Apps
or top ten applications to view traffic. Customize charts by selecting or de-selecting applications from the list of apps.
  • Select
    Devices
to narrow down analytics per device.
  • Select
    Cellular Modules
to view cellular telemetry for the selected module. The various charts show the cellular signal quality and statistics, traffic volume, bandwidth usage, technologies (3G/4G/5G), packet-related errors, and the GPS location history of the cellular module.
  • Select the cellular
    Carriers
to view the data by cellular traffic volume, network disconnects, SIM switchovers, or model resets.
  • Select
    APNs
to view the data for the selected APN profile.
  • Select
    WANs
to view traffic by a WAN path or to pin point surge on a specific WAN path such as Direct Internet, Internet VPN, Private WAV VPN, Direct Private WAN, and Standard VPN.
  • Select
    Path
to view paths by WAN, Site, or Device. This displays all the paths for Internet VPN.
  • Select
    Circuits
to view and narrow down the traffic by a circuit path such as Internet and Private WAN.
  • Select
    Interfaces
to view and narrow down the traffic by an interface. It is applicable only in the
    System
    page of the
    Activity
    tab.
After you select and update the filters, the filter is preserved across the
Activity
tab pages.
  • The filter criterion set for a specific time frame with selected apps or sites is retained across
    Network
    ,
    Media
    ,
    Link Quality
    ,
    Flows
    ,
    Routing
    ,
    System
    , and
    Cellular
    pages of the
    Activity
    tab.
  • When a filter does not apply to a particular page, for example, the
    Apps
filter does not apply to the
    Link Quality
    page, the filter is ignored.
  • The filter settings are retained in the browser cache, unless specifically modified or cleared.
