Activate Data Security on the Hub
Data Security
on the HubFollow these steps to set up
Data Security
and begin monitoring your sanctioned
SaaS applications.SaaS Security Team continuously updates its product activation process as
Data Security
integrates with other Palo Alto Networks products for improved security posture and
sometimes includes a simple product name change without a change to the underlying
product. Therefore, there’s more than one method of activation and the method
required depends on the date of your activation email, whether purchase or
evaluation, or product name. In all cases, the underlying product is identical and
you’ll begin by clicking on the activation link in the activation email you
received.If you're enabling
Data Security
for Next-Generation CASB, activate in the SASE Cloud
Management Console using the activation email you received.Choose
one of the following methods:
- Activate Data Security on the Hub (New)—If you received the activation email after 13 January 2022 or it contains the product name.Data Security
- Activate Data Security on the Hub (Legacy)—If you received the activation email before 13 January 2022 or it contains the product nameAperture.
