If you want the VM-Series firewall to use the disk bus type SCSI to access the
virtual disk, use the following instructions to attach the Virtio SCSI controller to
the firewall and then enable the use of the virtio-scsi controller.
KVM
on Ubuntu 12.04 does not support the virtio-scsi controller; the
virtio-scsi controller can only be enabled on the VM-Series firewall
running on RHEL or CentOS.
This process requires virsh because
Virt manager does not support the virtio-scsi controller.
