SSH OTP Support for Privileged Remote Access
Privileged Remote Access now supports SSH connections using one-time passwords,
enabling two-factor authentication for enhanced security of your users' remote access
sessions.
If your SSH servers require two-factor or two-step authentication using one-time
passwords (OTP), Privileged Remote Access now supports these connections through
keyboard-interactive authentication. Privileged Remote Access automatically handles
the interactive prompts required by SSH servers using OTP authentication methods.
When you use OTP authentication, Privileged Remote Access automatically uses a
single SSH session for both terminal access and file transfer operations because the
authentication mechanism only applies to the terminal session. File upload and
download operations connect to the same authenticated session rather than creating
separate sessions. No configuration is required as OTP support is enabled by
default. Password-based authentication continues to work as before for SSH
connections that do not require one-time passwords.
