New Features - Cloud NGFW for AWS - August 2025

Cloud NGFW for AWS enhances the onboarding experience by eliminating the need to onboard AWS accounts to the Cloud NGFW tenant before creating resources and enabling endpoints in any VPCs. Organizations deploying Cloud NGFW previously faced a multi-step process requiring upfront account onboarding, creating friction during initial deployments and slowing down the ability to quickly protect new AWS workloads. With simplified onboarding, you no longer need to onboard AWS accounts before creating endpoints—you simply allowlist the AWS account when creating or updating Cloud NGFW resources, streamlining the deployment process and reducing time-to-protection.

This enhancement removes administrative overhead and accelerates deployments, allowing you to start protecting AWS workloads immediately without preliminary configuration steps. You can now deploy Cloud NGFW endpoints in new VPCs or accounts as your infrastructure evolves, without returning to complete account onboarding procedures. The simplified workflow reduces the potential for configuration errors during initial setup and enables faster response to new security requirements as your AWS environment grows.
