Link your PAYG account with Cloud NGFW credits.
Three scenarios exist when integrating credits into your Cloud NGFW for AWS
subscription:
- You accepted your contract, but you don't have a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) subscription.
- You have an existing PAYG subscription, and accepted a new credit contract using the same AWS Marketplace account.
- You have an existing PAYG subscription, and accepted a new credit contract using a different AWS account; in this scenario you must link your accounts.The information in the following sections describes actions for each scenario.Palo Alto Networks sends an email with Cloud NGFW credit contract information you can use for your Cloud NGFW resource. This email contains information about creating a tenant for your Cloud NGFW subscription. It provides information about your subscription, including the number of allocated credits, the serial number for your account, a start and end date, and your offer ID.
Credit Contract Accepted but No PAYG Subscription Exists
You accepted your contract, but you don't have a PAYG subscription.
- If no PAYG subscription exists, you're presented with the following message on the Cloud NGFW login screen:
- Log in to the AWS Console with the login credentials you use for AWS Marketplace.
- Discover products by navigating to the optionCloud Next Generation Firewall (PAYG with 30-Day Free Trial).
- ClickSubscribe.
- ClickSet up product.
- Follow the steps to configure PAYG for your account.After setting up PAYG your credits are automatically applied.
An Existing PAYG Subscription Exists and You Accepted a Credit Contract on the Same
AWS Account
You have an existing PAYG subscription, and accepted a new credit contract using
the same AWS Marketplace account.
- Log in to the AWS Console with the login credentials you use for AWS Marketplace.
- Navigate to theCloud NGFW for AWSoption in AWS Marketplace.
- ClickSubscribe.
- ClickSet up productfor the optionPalo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW for AWS Credits; use your existing AWS account login credentials.
- Follow the steps to configure PAYG for your account.Your Cloud NGFW credits appear after logging in.
An Existing PAYG Subscription Exists and You Accepted a Credit Contract on a
Different AWS Account
You have an existing PAYG subscription, and accepted a new credit contract using
a different AWS account; in this scenario you must link your accounts.
- In the Cloud NGFW console, add an additional account to accommodate the new credit contract. Select
- For the new account you added in the Cloud NGFW console, subscribe to the PAYG subscription:
- Log in to the AWS Console.
- Navigate to theCloud NGFW for AWSoption in AWS Marketplace.
- ClickSet up product.
- SelectLogin with Existing Account
Your Cloud NGFW credits appear after logging in.During account setup, don't create new tenants. Ensure that you selectLogin with Existing Accounts.
