Breakout Port Support

Review the firewalls and appliances that have breakout ports.
The following table identifies which Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) support the breakout feature of the QSFP+/QSFP28 ports. When a port is broken out using a breakout cable, the port functions as four new independent interfaces whose speeds are a quarter of the speed of the broken out port. This allows you to split your network connections into additional, lower speed channels that link to multiple network switches or devices.
