PA-1400 Series Back Panel
Learn about the PA-1400 Series firewall back-panel components.
The following image shows the back panel of the PA-1400
Series firewall and the table describes each back-panel component.
The PA-1410 and PA-1420 back-panel components are identical.
Item | Component | Description |

1 | Fan assemblies | Five fan assemblies that provide ventilation and cooling for the firewall. The fans are not field replaceable. |
2 | Ground stud | Use the single post ground stud to connect
the firewall to earth ground (ground cable not included). |
3 | PS1 and PS2 | Use the power supply inputs to connect AC or DC power to the firewall. The second power supply is
for redundancy. When facing the back of the firewall, PS1 is on the
right and PS2 is on the left.
The AC power supplies have C14 inlets and support power
cords with C13 connectors. When you receive the PA-1400 Series firewall, the PS1 slot has a blank in it that must be removed
before a second power supply (purchased separately) can be
installed for power redundancy. |
