Your Prisma Browser New Tab Page features Identity Provider
Synced Shortcuts, a feature designed to keep your
organization-approved applications right at your fingertips. By
automatically syncing the apps assigned to you by your IT department, this
feature removes the need for manual configuration and ensures you have
quick, consistent access to the tools you need to stay productive.
How It Works
Prisma Browser connects to your organization's Identity Provider
(such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID) to pull the specific applications you
are authorized to use. These shortcuts appear automatically on your New Tab
Page as soon as they are assigned or managed by your IT administrator
Provider-Specific Behavior
The appearance and organization of these shortcuts may vary depending on the
Identity Provider your organization uses:
- Okta
- Your New Tab Page will mirror the sections you have
configured in your Okta dashboard.
- If you create new sections or reorganize apps within your
Okta dashboard, these changes will reflect on your New Tab
Page.
The specific order of the
applications within each section is not
guaranteed.
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Prisma Browser automatically syncs "enterprise applications"
that your IT admin has provisioned for you.
- This includes apps assigned directly to your user account
and apps assigned through your group memberships.
- If you see an application in your personal My Apps portal because it
was assigned to you by an admin, it will be added to your
New Tab Page.
