Manage Notification Controls in the Prisma Agent App for Android

View and adjust your notification settings in the Prisma Agent app to control which background alerts you receive on your Android device.
Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • Prisma Agent on Android
  • Prisma Agent 26.4
  • Prisma Agent app on a managed device
The Prisma® Agent sends background notifications to alert you when action is required on your device. You can manage the notification settings in the Notification Controls section of the Prisma Agent app.
On managed devices, your administrator configures which notification categories are available and whether you can adjust them via mobile device management (MDM). In the Notification Controls section of the app, you can view your current settings and toggle the ones your administrator has made user-controllable. On unmanaged devices, all toggles appear grayed out.
The Prisma Agent uses three notification categories:
  • Connection Failure — alerts you when the agent cannot connect
  • User Sign-in is required — prompts you to authenticate when required, such as for SAML sign-in or certificate selection
  • Session Extension — alerts you when your session is about to expire so you can extend it
Categories your administrator has set as user-controllable show an active toggle. Categories locked by your administrator appear with a grayed-out toggle that you cannot change. Your preferences are saved across reconnects and app relaunches.
  1. Open the Prisma Agent app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the Settings icon.
  3. Select Notification Controls.
  4. For any category that shows an active toggle, turn the toggle on or off based on your preference.
If a toggle is grayed out, your administrator has locked that setting and you cannot change it. On unmanaged devices, all toggles appear grayed out.
Your preferences take effect immediately and are preserved until you change them or your administrator updates your MDM configuration.
