Overview

Report an Issue enables Prisma Browser users to submit issue reports directly from the browser. Administrators can then view, triage, and respond to those reports from the Operations page in the Prisma Browser management console.
When a user encounters a problem — such as a performance issue, a website that fails to load, or a browser tool that behaves unexpectedly — the user opens the Report an Issue form from the extension popup menu. The form collects the issue type, a description, and optionally captures a screenshot of the active page along with diagnostic data. After submission, the user receives a confirmation with a report ID and timestamp.

How to Report an Issue

You can report an issue from the Prisma Browser.
  1. From the Bookmarks Bar on the browser, click the Prisma Browser icon.
  2. Click Report an Issue.
  3. On the Report an Issue page, enter the following information:
    1. Select one of the Issue Types:
      • Performance — Slow page loads, high resource usage, or unresponsive behavior.
      • Website Access — Loading or connection errors when accessing websites.
      • Browser Tools — Problems with copy/paste, bookmarks, audio, or other browser tools.
      • Other — Issues that do not fit the above categories.
    2. Enter a free-text description of the issue. The description must be between 10-1024 characters.
    3. Select whether or not to include a screenshot as part of the report. By including the screenshot, you will be able to see exactly what went wrong without having to try to recreate the issue.
  4. Click Submit.
The report also automatically captures the active tab URL, tab title, browser session ID, and device ID. These are included in the report metadata visible to administrators.
