Onboard a BlueJeans App to SSPM

Connect a BlueJeans instance to SSPM to detect posture risks.
For SSPM to detect posture risks in your BlueJeans instance, you must onboard your BlueJeans instance to SSPM. Through the onboarding process, SSPM connects to a BlueJeans API and, through the API, scans your BlueJeans instance for misconfigured settings. If there are misconfigured settings, SSPM suggests a remediation action based on best practices.
SSPM gets access to your BlueJeans instance through a BlueJeans Enterprise app that you create. During onboarding, SSPM prompts you for information that identifies your BlueJeans Enterprise app.
To onboard your BlueJeans instance, you complete the following actions:

Collect Information for Connecting to Your BlueJeans Instance

To access your BlueJeans instance, SSPM requires the following credentials for a BlueJeans Enterprise app. You must create this BlueJeans Enterprise app before you begin the onboarding process.

App Key
A character string that identifies your BlueJeans Enterprise app. You specify this App Key when you create your BlueJeans Enterprise app.
App Secret
A character string that BlueJeans generates when you create your BlueJeans Enterprise app.
As you complete the following steps, make note of the values of the items described in the preceding table. You will need to enter these values during onboarding to enable SSPM to access your BlueJeans instance.
  1. Identify the BlueJeans administrator account that you will use to create your BlueJeans Enterprise app.

    ) The BlueJeans Enterprise app must be created by a BlueJeans administrator.
  2. Create your BlueJeans Enterprise app.
    1. Open a web browser and go to the BlueJeans login page at www.bluejeans.com/login.
    2. Log in to the administrator account that you identified earlier.
    3. From the navigation bar at the top of the page, navigate to your
      ADMIN
      page.
    4. From your Admin page, select
      GROUP SETTINGS
      ENTERPRISE APPS
      .
      If the
      ENTERPRISE APPS
      tab is not enabled, contact the BlueJeans support team and ask them to enable enterprise-level APIs for your account.
    5. On your Enterprise Apps page,
      ADD NEW APP
      .
    6. On the Create App page, specify a Name, Description, and App Key and
      SAVE
      your BlueJeans Enterprise app.
  3. Copy your BlueJeans Enterprise app credentials.
    Your BlueJeans app credentials are the App Key that you specified for your app, and the App Secret that was generated by BlueJeans. These credentials are shown on your Enterprise Apps page. Copy the App Key and App Secret and paste the them into a text file.
    Do not continue to the next step unless you have copied the App Key and App Secret. You must provide this information to SSPM during the onboarding process.

Connect SSPM to Your BlueJeans Instance

By adding a BlueJeans app in SSPM, you enable SSPM to connect to your BlueJeans instance.
  1. From the Add Application page (
    Posture Security
    Applications
    Add Application
    ), click the BlueJeans tile.
  2. Under posture security instances,
    Add Instance
    or, if there is already an instance configured,
    Add New
    instance.
  3. Choose the option to
    Log in with Credentials
    .
  4. Enter the application credentials (App Key and App Secret) and
    Connect
    .
