Logviewer Copilot Summary
When analyzing network logs, the sheer volume of data makes it difficult to quickly identify patterns and derive meaningful insights. The Logviewer Copilot Summary feature solves this problem by automatically analyzing your filtered log data and presenting a comprehensive, high-level summary of the most important findings. Instead of manually examining thousands or even millions of tabular records, you can now get instant intelligence about your network traffic, threats, or other log data through AI-powered analysis.
You can use this feature whenever you need to understand the broader patterns in your log data. For example, after applying filters to traffic logs, the Copilot Summary can immediately show you the number of unique source and destination IPs, distinct users, session counts by application type, encrypted vs. decrypted traffic statistics, and session end reasons—all without you having to export and analyze the data yourself. This provides a quick overview that helps you understand the scope and nature of the network activity represented in your filtered logs.
The feature integrates seamlessly with your workflow—simply apply your desired filters in Logviewer, and the Copilot Summary appears as an option in the AI Assist workflows panel. When you select it, the system processes up to 10,000 records from your filtered dataset to generate meaningful insights. Beyond just providing stats, the summary can highlight anomalies, such as unusual application usage patterns or potential security concerns, giving you immediate visibility into what matters most in your log data.
You'll find this feature particularly valuable for security investigations, troubleshooting network issues, understanding user behavior, and generating quick reports on network activity. By automatically surfacing the most relevant information and patterns in your log data, the Copilot Summary helps you make faster, better-informed decisions about your network security and performance.
