Activation for Prisma Access add-on

Learn how to activate your Device Security add-on for Prisma Access license for the first time when using Strata Cloud Manager.
When you purchase a Device Security add-on for Prisma Access license, you will receive an email from Palo Alto Networks with a link to the Activation Console to activate the license.
Follow these steps to activate the license:
  1. Click the Login to Activate button in the email to open the Activation Console.
    The Activation Console opens on the Subscriptions page for the CSP account that you used to purchase the Device Security add-on.
  2. Add and active the Device Security add-on.
    You can search by product or by Entitlement Group ID for the Device Security add-on. The Entitlement Group ID can be found in the email you received.
    Select the Device Security add-on and click Activate.
  3. Specify the Tenant to activate Device Security on.
  4. Choose the data ingestion Region, which is the region where Strata Logging Service is receiving data from firewalls.
  5. Select Region where Strata Logging Service receives data from Prisma Access.
  6. Select Cloud (Recommended) for your management method.
  7. Check that Prisma Access Remote Networks is selected under Licenses, and that IoT is selected under Purchased Add-ons.
  8. Agree to the terms and conditions, and Activate Now.
  9. Verify that Device Security is now activated on the tenant.
    Verify the Device Security status on the Activation Console by going to Tenant Management and selecting the tenant. Under the Products tab, verify that Device Security shows "Processing" or "Complete" under Status.
  10. Get started with Device Security.
