    Set up NetBrain for Integration

    Set up NetBrain to integrate with Device Security Cortex XSOAR by provisioning access to NetBrain.
    Where Can I Use This?What Do I Need?
    • Device Security (Managed by Strata Cloud Manager)
    • (Legacy) IoT Security (Standalone portal)
    One of the following subscriptions:
    • Device Security subscription for an advanced Device Security product (Enterprise Plus, Industrial OT, or Medical)
    • Device Security X subscription
    One of the following Cortex XSOAR setups:
    • A free, cohosted, limited-featured Cortex XSOAR instance
      AND
      A Cortex XSOAR Engine (on-premises integration)
    • A full-featured Cortex XSOAR server
    It's assumed you already have a NetBrain setup. When integrating NetBrain with Device Security and Cortex XSOAR, you need to provide Cortex XSOAR with access to a user account that has site, domain, and device visibility.
    1. Log in to your NetBrain solution with an account that has administrator privileges.
    2. Follow the NetBrain instructions to create a user account for Cortex XSOAR to use to authenticate to NetBrain.
    3. Ensure that the user account for Cortex XSOAR has site, domain, and device visibility.
      If you use the default NetBrain roles, the user account needs the privileges of either the Domain Admin or Power User roles. You can also create a custom user role for the Cortex XSOAR user account, ensuring that the custom role still has site, domain, and device visibility.
    4. After saving the settings for the user account, make note of the account username and password, which you will need to provide to Cortex XSOAR.
