Connect Third-Party Data Sources to the Quantum-Safe Security App

Connect third-party security tools to the Quantum-Safe Security app to enrich your cryptographic asset inventory with host metadata, certificate details, and vulnerability data.
Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • NGFW (Managed by Strata Cloud Manager)
  • Prisma Access (Managed by Strata Cloud Manager)
  • Quantum-Safe Security license
  • API credentials for the third-party tool you want to connect
The Quantum-Safe Security app uses your Palo Alto Networks infrastructure — NGFWs and Prisma® Access — as primary sensors for cryptographic telemetry. Third-party connectors extend this visibility by adding data that your existing infrastructure cannot observe on its own: host metadata from endpoint detection tools, certificate inventory from PKI managers, vulnerability scan results, and asset ownership records from CMDB solutions.
When you connect a third-party tool, the app correlates incoming data with assets already discovered through your NGFW and Prisma Access telemetry. This enriches your inventory with additional context — such as OS version, hardware model, installed software, or asset owner — and improves the accuracy of quantum readiness assessments and recommendations.
The Data Sources catalog lists all available connectors. Each connector card describes what data it contributes and which data attributes it adds to your inventory. You can connect multiple sources simultaneously. For a list of supported connectors and the data attributes each one collects, see Supported Data Source Connectors.
  1. Select InsightsQuantum-Safe Security, then click Data SourcesConnectors.
  2. Browse the connector catalog and click Connect on the card for the tool you want to integrate.
  3. In the connection dialog, enter the credentials required for your tool.
Each connector has a unique credential form. Refer to the documentation for your specific tool to locate the required API keys, endpoint URLs, hostnames, or port numbers.
  4. Click Test Connection to verify that the app can reach the tool with the credentials you provided.
  5. Click Save.
After saving, the connector card updates to show an active status and begins enriching your inventory. Initial data ingestion may take up to 15 minutes.
