Description
PAN-336055
On PA-54R-POE and PA-54R-POE-D-5G firewalls, the web interface lets you enable and commit Vehicle Ignition Monitoring System (VIMS) settings even when the firewall is connected to a low-voltage power supply unit (LVPSU) or high-voltage power supply unit (HVPSU). VIMS operates only with an Automotive Power Supply Unit (AMPSU), so the settings do not take effect with a non-AMPSU power supply.
Workaround: Enable VIMS only on firewalls connected to an AMPSU.
PAN-338304
On PA-54R-POE and PA-54R-POE-D-5G firewalls managed by Panorama, you can enable Vehicle Ignition Monitoring System (VIMS) in a template and push it to firewalls connected to a low-voltage power supply unit (LVPSU) or high-voltage power supply unit (HVPSU). Because VIMS requires an Automotive Power Supply Unit (AMPSU), the configuration does not take effect on firewalls that use a non-AMPSU power supply.
Workaround: Enable VIMS in templates only for firewalls connected to an AMPSU.
