ARP Cache Timeout

You can configure the ARP cache timeout setting to control how long the firewall keeps mappings of IP addresses to hardware addresses in its ARP cache.
You can change the length of time that the firewall keeps IP address-to-hardware address mappings in its ARP cache to suit your environment.
  1. Access the CLI and specify how many seconds the firewall keeps ARP entries in its cache. Use the operational CLI command
    set system setting arp-cache-timeout
    >; range is 60 to 65,535, default is 1,800.
  2. View the ARP cache timeout setting with the operational CLI command
    show system setting arp-cache-timeout
