Field
Description
Cluster
Name of the
Cluster
for
which the report was generated.
Site
Name of the
Site
for
which the report was generated.
App
Name of the application specified by an
SD-WAN policy rule.
SaaS Monitoring
Displays whether the app is a SaaS application
configured in a SaaS Quality profile that is associated with one
or more SD-WAN policy rules.
Disabled
—The
app is not a SaaS application configured in a SaaS Quality profile.
Enabled
—The app is a SaaS application
configured in a SaaS Quality profile and is associated with a single
SD-WAN policy.
Multiple
—The app is a SaaS application
configured in a SaaS Quality profile and is associated with a multiple
SaaS Quality profiles.
Avg Flap/Session
Average number of times an application swapped
links per session during the specified time-frame.
Impacted/Total Bytes Per App
Number of sessions impacted out of the total
number of sessions within the specified time frame. If the application
is impacted, this helps indicate how extensive the issue is.
Error Correction Sessions/Impacted Sessions/Total Sessions
Per App
Number of error corrected sessions and impacted
sessions out of the total number of sessions within the specified
time frame. If the application is impacted, this helps indicate
how extensive the issue is.
Policies
Name of the SD-WAN policy rule(s) that matched
the app traffic matched. Multiple SD-WAN policy rules may be listed
if the app traffic matched multiple SD-WAN policies.
Link Info
Link Tag
Name of the link tag identifying the physical
link the app used during traffic distribution.
Link Type
The physical link type.
Error Corrected Metrics
Forward Error Correction (FEC) ratio or
the percentage of packet duplication for app traffic over the link.
For
the FEC ratio, the larger the difference, the better. For example,
20:10
is better
than
20:2
.
A
way to understand the impact of FEC is to convert the ratio into
a percentage. The higher the percentage value, the more parity the
firewall is adding to the traffic flow and the better the chance
of recovering from packet loss. However, this also results in more
bandwidth used to transmit data. The trade-off of higher recoverability
as the result of higher FEC percentage is that more bandwidth is
used.
Impacted/ Total Bytes per Link Tag
Amount of impacted bytes out of the total bytes
for the app traffic per link.
