Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • Strata Cloud Manager
  • Strata Cloud Manager Pro
  • This feature is currently in Beta and available on request. Contact your account team to enable the feature.
  • Superuser role (for agent administration, onboarding, and managing permissions)
  • Network Administrator or Security Administrator role (for agent interaction)
Agent Permissions is the primary governance control for the Network Security Agent. Use it to control which agents are active, what product scope they will operate across.

Enable the Network Security Agent

  1. Select Control CenterAgent Permissions.
  2. Enable to activate all agents.

Add a Virtual Assistant Identity

  1. Select Control CenterAgent Permissions.
  2. Under Virtual Assistant Identity, Add New in the Select an Identity drop-down.
  3. Select Virtual Assistant under Identity Type.
  4. Enter the Virtual Assistant Name, and optionally, its contact and description.
  5. Next.
  6. Assign roles based on the applications and services that the virtual assistant needs to access.
  7. Submit.
  8. Under Control CenterAgent Permissions, select the default identity for context.
You can also manage the virtual assistant identity from System SettingsIdentity & Access Management.

Disable Agent

  1. Select Control CenterAgent Permissions.
  2. Disable Agent to immediately halt all agent execution across the tenant.
Confirm when prompted. Strata Cloud Manager cancels all in-progress plans, deactivates all triggers, and disables the Context Library. Strata Cloud Manager retries internally to ensure complete shutdown without requiring multiple confirmations from you. Existing agent conversations remain viewable in read-only mode.
The Disable Agent button is designed for emergency situations where you need immediate assurance that no agent action is executing. After using this button, review the cancelled plans in Action Center before re-enabling the agent to understand what work was interrupted.
