Work in Action Center

Monitor plan execution, approve configuration changes, review completed work, and manage plan visibility for your tenant.
Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • Strata Cloud Manager
  • Strata Cloud Manager Pro
  • This feature is currently in Beta and available on request. Contact your account team to enable the feature.
  • Superuser role (for agent administration, onboarding, and managing permissions)
  • Network Administrator or Security Administrator role (for agent interaction)
This feature leverages a large language model or generative AI, and may contain errors. Double-check for accuracy before applying changes.
Action Center is your day-to-day operational workspace to review and progress all agent execution activity. Use it after invoking the agent to monitor execution progress, respond to pending requests by the agent, review completed plans, and share plan executions with your team or other teams. Network Administrators and Security Administrators see their own plans and any Public plans shared with their RBAC group. Superusers see all plans across the tenant.

Monitor Plans in Action Center

  1. Open Strata Copilot and select Action Center.
  2. View plans organized by status: Total Plans, In-Progress, Pending Input, Success, Cancelled, Failed.
  3. Use search and filter capabilities to find specific plans:
    • Search by keyword, plan name, or objective description.
    • Filter plans by a specific user role by using Visibility.
    • Filter by status.
    • Filter plans by time range: last hour, day, week, month, or all (default: last week).
You can also reset the filters.
  4. Click View Details under Action for any plan to open its detailed view. It includes:
    • The full conversation history with the agent.
    • A step-by-step execution timeline showing each step, its status, and its duration.
    • The complete audit trail, including who initiated the plan, timestamps, and any approval or rejection decisions.
    • Write references for all configuration changes made during execution.

Approve or Reject Write Actions

When the agent reaches a write task in Read-Write Supervised mode, the plan pauses in Pending state and waits for your decision. The agent shows you the proposed configuration change so you can make an informed decision before anything is modified in your environment.
  1. Open Strata Copilot and select Action Center.
  2. Select the plan waiting for approval.
  3. In the plan detail view, locate the pending write task.
  4. For each pending write action, choose an action:
    • Approve to allow the agent to execute the change. The plan resumes immediately.
    • Reject to skip this action. The agent records the rejection, skips the write step, and continues with the remaining plan steps where possible.
  5. If the plan contains multiple pending write actions, review and decide on each one individually.

Submit Follow-Up Queries on Completed Plans

After a plan completes, you can submit follow-up queries in the context of that plan. Use this to dig deeper into findings, request additional analysis, or ask the agent to act on something discovered during the plan's execution without losing the context of what the agent already found. Note, additional follow-ups will trigger additional commercial usage of the agent.
  1. Open Strata Copilot and select Action Center.
  2. Select the completed plan you want to follow up on.
  3. In the conversation view, enter your follow-up query in the input field.
    • If the follow-up is within the scope of the existing plan's context, the agent extends the existing plan with new tasks.
    • If the follow-up requires new analysis outside the existing scope, the agent generates a new plan.
  4. Review the Target Plan for the follow-up and Execute to proceed.

Provide Feedback on Agent Performance

Submit feedback on plan quality and execution results to improve future agent performance.
  1. At the end of plan execution (Completion Debrief) or at the end of Target Plan generation, locate the feedback controls.
  2. Thumbs Up if the agent delivered the expected outcome, or Thumbs Down if it did not.
  3. If you select Thumbs Down, choose one or more issue categories: Incorrect Root Cause, Bad Remediation, Execution Failure, Slow, Unsafe Action, Missing Capability, Partial, or Other (requires free-text explanation).
  4. (Optional) Enter additional context in the "What did you expect?" and "What did the Network Security Agent do?" text fields.
  5. Submit. Strata Cloud Manager records your feedback per user, per conversation, and does not expose it to other users.
