After you activate a license and allocate a license, continue to plan service
connections.
- Choose how many service connections to allocate to your tenant.
- If you have a local edition license, the default number of service connections is 2. If you have a global enterprise or worldwide license, the number of locations is 5. For additional service connections, the number available for allocating to your tenants is based on the Service Connection add-on.
- When license sharing, the number available for other tenants is based on the remainder after allocation.
- Consider a scenario where you purchase 3000 enterprise edition licenses and share with three tenants. The example tenant license allocations are Tenant A = 1000, Tenant B = 1000, and Tenant C = 1000. Each tenant has five service connections by default. If you purchase 10 additional service connections, you can allocate them per tenant so that Tenant A can have six additional service connections, Tenant B can have the remaining 3, and Tenant C can have the one remaining. This is in addition to the default.
Continue to add additional locations.
