New Features - AI Access Security - February 2025

The AI Access Security™ Report provides a comprehensive overview of your organization's GenAI usage and security posture. This executive-level report addresses the challenge of understanding and managing risks associated with rapidly evolving GenAI apps. You can use this report to gain insights into GenAI app usage and sensitive data exposure within your organization based on a specified time period. As a security administrator or executive, you can use this report to make informed decisions about your organization's GenAI security policies, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize risk mitigation efforts. The AI Access Security Report supports both NGFW and Prisma Access tenants managed by Strata Cloud Manager or a Panorama® management server, offering flexibility for various network configurations. By utilizing this report, you can streamline the process of assessing your GenAI app security landscape, enabling you to take proactive measures to protect your organization's data and infrastructure while maximizing the benefits of GenAI technologies. The report's automated generation and scheduling capabilities ensure you always have access to up to date information, helping you stay ahead of potential security challenges in the dynamic world of GenAI apps.

AI Access Security now displays individual user counts for allowed and blocked users for each GenAI app to enhance your visibility into GenAI app usage within your organization. This enhancement allows your security administrators to easily distinguish between users successfully accessing GenAI apps they are sanctioned to access and those who are blocked due to policy rule restrictions. By providing separate counts and detailed lists for allowed and blocked users, you can effectively validate the enforcement of your access control policy rules and gain actionable insights into GenAI app usage patterns. You can use these user counts to verify that your configured policy rules are working as intended, addressing scenarios where the total user count might exceed expected for specific GenAI apps sanctioned for use by your organization. You can also click each the allowed or blocked user counts to drill down into individual user lists to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and user management. This granular visibility helps your organization maintain compliance, enhance security, and optimize resource allocation for GenAI apps. By displaying the allowed and blocked user counts, your security administrators can make data-driven decisions about access control and usage optimization. It can help them identify potential policy rule violations or unintended access to ensure appropriate GenAI app usage within your organization.
