Run a New Access Query
from the main Access Analyzer
page.- On the Access Analyzer page, selectStart a New Queryto create a new natural-language query.
- TheNew Querypage opens. Access Analyzer populates theQuery Namefield automatically, providing a name based on the time and date you create the query.
- To start creating your query, click in theQueryfield to see available field names.
- Select the field name you want. As soon as you make a selection, your selection for the next field name appears.
- For some field names, you need to type in specific variable information, such as <username>, <application name>, or <location name>. The UI clarifies the variable you need to enter.
- Next, selectSubmit Query.After you submit a query, theAccess Querieswidget reappears, allowing you to create another query if you want or view existing queries in theQuery Log.
- You can view details about all queries in theQuery Logtable, including any you’ve recently submitted and are in process.
- To refresh theQuery Log, select theRefreshbutton in the upper right corner, select a predefined refresh option, or disableAuto-Refresh.
