Run access queries to help you determine who is connected, where they are connected, and when. You can
Run a New Access Query
from the main Access Analyzer page.
  1. On the Access Analyzer page, select
    Start a New Query
to create a new natural-language query.
  2. The
    New Query
page opens. Access Analyzer populates the
    Query Name
field automatically, providing a name based on the time and date you create the query.
  3. To start creating your query, click in the
    Query
field to see available field names.
  4. Select the field name you want. As soon as you make a selection, your selection for the next field name appears.
  5. For some field names, you need to type in specific variable information, such as <username>, <application name>, or <location name>. The UI clarifies the variable you need to enter.
  6. Next, select
    Submit Query
    .
After you submit a query, the
    Access Queries
widget reappears, allowing you to create another query if you want or view existing queries in the
    Query Log
    .
  7. You can view details about all queries in the
    Query Log
table, including any you’ve recently submitted and are in process.
  8. Select any
    Completed
    query by
    Query Name
to open the Query Results page for details.
  9. To refresh the
    Query Log
    , select the
    Refresh
button in the upper right corner, select a predefined refresh option, or disable
    Auto-Refresh
    .
