The information in this section serves as a reference for deploying Cloud NGFW using
Azure portal. You can use the Azure portal to deploy the Cloud NGFW across multiple
Azure accounts. The Azure portal uses the Cloud NGFW console to author local
rulestacks.
Two deployment methods are supported:
Azure VNets and
Azure vWANs. An Azure vNET enables
secure communication with other Azure resources, the internet, and on-premises networks.
An Azure vWAN represents a networking service that combines networking, security, and
routing functionalities together to provide a singular, operational interface. Deploying
in your Azure environment requires the Cloud NGFW console and the Azure portal.
Throughput for a vNET or vWAN is limited to 100 Gbps.
