Where Can I Use This? What Do I Need?
  • NGFW (managed by Panorama or Strata Cloud Manager)
  • Prisma Access (managed by Panorama or Strata Cloud Manager)
  • GlobalProtect Gateway license or Prisma Access license with the Mobile User subscription
  • GlobalProtect app for macOS 6.0.4 and later and 6.1 and later releases
  • Endpoints running macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 12 (Monterey), or macOS 13 (Ventura)
You can use Jamf Pro to deploy the GlobalProtect app for macOS with a custom script that contains GlobalProtect plist settings, which can be run before or after the GlobalProtect client installation. You can also use Jamf Pro configuration profiles to prevent end user notifications by automatically loading system and network extensions related to features such as split tunnel, split DNS, and enforcer.
The Jamf Pro configuration profile method for deploying VPN settings is not supported. You can configure the VPN settings through the GlobalProtect portal or by using GlobalProtect plist settings before you can deploy the app using Jamf Pro.
