    Configure Zoom Team Chat as a Notification Provider

    Zoom Team Chat is a messaging platform that helps teams communicate and collaborate through direct messages, group chats, and channels. After you configure Zoom Team Chat as a notification provider in Next-Gen Trust Security, you can create notifications for events like certificate expiration and resource health changes and send them directly to Zoom Team Chat channels.

    Before You Begin

    Ensure that you have:
    • In Zoom, the Incoming Webhook app added to your account, as described in the Zoom documentation.

    Step 1: Create Zoom Team Chat Channels

    To send notifications to Zoom Team Chat, set up one or more Zoom Team Chat channels to receive them, as described in Using Zoom's Incoming Webhook Chatbot.
    Configuring a channel provides an endpoint and a verification token that you supply when adding Zoom Team Chat as a notification provider in Next-Gen Trust Security.
    Note: Notifications in multiple channelsTo set up multiple channels (for example, to send cert-manager issuer notifications to one channel and certificate expiration notifications to another), repeat these steps. Then, in Next-Gen Trust Security, add one new Zoom Team Chat provider for each channel.
    1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
    2. Click Team Chat.
    3. Run the following command, replacing <connectionName> with the name of the connection:
      /inc connect <connectionName>
      Zoom creates a new connection and responds with the endpoint and verification token that you use in the next step.

    Step 2: Add Zoom Team Chat as a notification provider

    1. Click Integrations > Notification Providers.
    2. Click New.
    3. Under Integration Type, select Zoom Team Chat.
    4. Enter a Name for the integration.
    5. In Endpoint, enter the Zoom Team Chat endpoint from the previous step.
    6. In Verification Token, enter the verification token from the previous step.
    7. Click Save. The new integration appears on the Notification Providers page.

    Next steps
