Enable or Disable the App-ID Cloud Engine
ACE offloads application identification to the cloud, leveraging machine learning and
cloud-based intelligence to improve detection accuracy of new, emerging, and unknown
applications.

The App-ID Cloud Engine (ACE) is disabled
by default on Panorama and enabled by default on firewalls when
the SaaS Security Inline license is installed. You must enable ACE
on Panorama appliances that manage ACE-enabled firewalls.
To
enable or disable ACE:
- Navigate to DeviceSetupACESettings on the firewall or PanoramaSetupACESettings on Panorama.Click edit (ACE is disabled by default.Click OK.(Only if enabling ACE) If you are enabling ACE, the Enable App-ID Cloud Engine dialog appears.If the firewall or Panorama-managed firewalls have the SaaS Security Inline license installed, click Yes to enable ACE.Commit the change.
