End users can now change their active directory (AD) password using the GlobalProtect credential provider on Windows 10 endpoints. This enhancement improves the single sign-on (SSO) experience by allowing users to update their AD password and access resources secured by GlobalProtect using the same credential provider. Users change their AD password through the GlobalProtect credential provider only when their password expires or an administrator requires a password change at the next login.
The maximum password age indicates the number of days for which a password can be used before the user is required to change it. You can set a value between
1
and
999
days, or set a value of
0
to mean that passwords never expire.
