When you configure the website, GlobalProtect automatically launches the default browser. If GlobalProtect detects a captive portal page from the Wi-Fi provider, the browser takes the end-user to the captive portal page to authenticate before displaying your preconfigured website. By automatically launching the desired website for end-users, you can reduce confusion and issues when GlobalProtect is required for network access but the user must first authenticate through a captive portal page.
