Device Security CRUD API for Sites, Subnets, and Network Segments

Release Date: June 2025 | Last Updated: May 2026

Device Security introduces a comprehensive set of CRUD APIs for managing sites, subnets, and network segments. Using the CRUD APIs, you can now programmatically execute operations that were previously available only through CSV uploads or the web interface. The CRUD APIs enable automation and integration of Device Security with your existing network infrastructure management workflows.

When managing large or complex networks, you need efficient ways to create and maintain your network topology within Device Security . With these CRUD APIs, you can create sites with their associated information including names, addresses, IP address prefixes, and network segments. You can also manage subnets by configuring their IP address prefixes, VLANs, descriptions, and monitoring status. Additionally, you can create network segments and associate them with specific firewalls and sites. The API supports the conversion of subnets to shared blocks and vice versa, giving you flexibility in how you organize your network infrastructure.

The APIs offer consistent pagination support, so that you can efficiently retrieve large sets of data. Whether you need to set up a new deployment with hundreds of sites, make bulk changes to your network configuration, or integrate Device Security with your network management tools, these APIs provide the programmatic access you need to streamline operations and reduce manual configuration efforts.
