This step is not required if you are storing Data Plane logs locally,
which can be configured by enabling demo mode. To enable demo mode, you
must first
add and enable a logging drive
in the PA-7500 Management Processing Card (MPC).
After the logging drive is enabled, log in to the CLI and enter
admin@pa-7500> debug log-receiver mp demo_mode set dp <data plane number> slot <DPC slot number> duration <in minutes>
For the data plane and DPC slot number, refer to the chassis slot
numbering on the
PA-7500 front panel.
To view the current duration of demo mode, enter
admin@pa-7500> debug log-receiver mp demo_mode show
To turn off demo mode, enter the following command and set the duration
to 0.
admin@pa-7500> debug log-receiver mp demo_mode set dp <data plane number> slot <DPC slot number> duration <in minutes>
